Only time will tell Empty Only time will tell

Drowning in air so thick it fills the lungs like lead.
In the surrounding darkness, Ghosts of the past take hold.
Choking, Suffocating.
But I am not afraid, ahead there is light,
Emanating from the spirits of the future.
Releasing, Hopeful.
As I grow closer, Will glistening Silver be my reward?
Or will this ball of hope become nothing more than..
Fool's Gold?
